Kathy and Ron Avery
Instructors

Kathy and Ron got hooked on diving in 2005 while on vacation. Together they decided snorkeling was not enough and were soon certified as open water scuba divers. After that both were hooked and dove every opportunity they had. Ten years later they decided to complete the training to become SDI Open Water Scuba Instructors. Together they have trained hundreds of students through their local area dive shop. Both Kathy and Ron are into technical diving and are certified TDI (Technical Diving International) instructors. When not diving, Kathy works as a full-time special education teacher, and Ron works as a project manager for a local construction company. Kathy's late father served 28 years in the Air Force and she has a special soft spot for veterans.
